Freshly mowed striped lawn by North Shade Lawn
Dependable, weekly lawn care

Lawn care in mid-Michigan.

We offer lawn care on a weekly recurring schedule only — the same crew, the same standards, every single week — for homes, businesses and HOAs across Greenville, Edmore and the surrounding area.

Overview

Consistent care, every single week.

The secret to a great-looking lawn isn't one big visit — it's consistent, dependable care, week in and week out. We run weekly recurring plans, so your property gets the same crew, the same standards and the same clean finish all season long.

Each visit covers the essentials — mowing, trimming, edging and blowing — and we keep your beds and shrubs in shape too, with trimming and weed control. When your lawn needs a boost, we aerate and overseed to build it thicker and healthier from the roots up.

We handle residential properties, commercial sites and HOAs, and we can take care of basic tree work too, including limbs and trees brought down by storms.

What's included.

How it works

Simple, start to finish.

1

Property walkthrough

We assess your lawn and set up a weekly plan that fits the property.

2

Weekly service

The same crew shows up on schedule — mowing, trimming, edging and more.

3

Season-long results

Consistent care keeps your lawn sharp and healthy from spring through fall.

How we work

Weekly service — not one-time visits.

We only take on recurring weekly lawn care. No one-time mows, no every-other-week schedule. That’s worth saying plainly up front so nobody wastes a phone call.

Why weekly only

A lawn cut on a consistent seven-day schedule never has more than about a third of the blade taken off at once. It doesn’t clump, it doesn’t get scalped, and it doesn’t go through the stress cycle that comes with being cut back hard every second or third week. The turf is simply healthier, and it shows.

Consistency is the product

A property we’re on every week is a property we actually know — where the wet spot is, which gate sticks, what needs watching. That’s what keeps a commercial site or an HOA looking the same in late August as it did in May, which is the entire point of hiring it out.

What a visit covers

Mowing, string trimming, edging and blowing down every hard surface so the property is clean when we leave. Bush and shrub trimming, aeration and overseeding, and weed control in garden beds are handled through the season as they’re needed.

Storm work

Basic tree work is part of what we do for the properties we service — when limbs or trees come down in a storm, we take care of clearing them.

Most of our lawn care work is commercial — offices, HOAs and managed properties — with residential accounts alongside it. Both are welcome.

Estimates

What affects the price.

Lawn care is quoted per property after we’ve seen it, because acreage alone doesn’t tell you how long a site takes.

1

Property size

The straightforward part — how much turf there is to cut.

2

Trim work and obstacles

Beds, fences, trees, posts and playgrounds. String trimming around obstacles takes considerably longer per square foot than open mowing, and it’s often the real driver of a quote.

3

Terrain and access

Slopes, narrow gates and tight corners that dictate which equipment we can use.

4

Length of season

How many visits the property needs across the growing season.

5

Seasonal add-ons

Aeration, overseeding and shrub trimming scheduled through the year.

6

Commercial scope

Multiple buildings, parking areas and sidewalk edges on a single site.

Estimates are free and we’ll quote your property specifically rather than guessing from a map. Request a free estimate.

Questions

Common questions.

Do you offer one-time or every-other-week mowing?

No — weekly recurring service only. Consistency is what keeps turf healthy and a property looking right, and holding to it is how we stay reliable for the customers already on our schedule.

What happens if it rains on my service day?

We shift the route and get to it as soon as the turf is dry enough to cut without tearing it. Mowing saturated ground does more harm than waiting a day.

Do you service commercial properties and HOAs?

Yes — that’s the majority of our lawn care work. Offices, managed properties and homeowners’ associations are what we’re set up for.

Do you handle fertilizing and weed control?

We take care of weed control in garden beds, and we handle aeration and overseeding to thicken up thin turf. If you’re after a full lawn chemical program, ask us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Can I add cleanups or snow removal to my lawn care?

Yes. Spring and fall cleanups, mulching, and commercial snow removal on seasonal contracts all run alongside weekly lawn care — see all services.
